1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
8oz. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
3 1/2 cups flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
Preheat oven to 375 F.
In your stand mixer, cream the butter and sugar. Add the cream cheese and mix until fluffy.
Add the egg, vanilla, and almond and mix on low speed until well incorporated.
Add the flour and baking powder and mix on low speed until combined.
*Chill at least 1 hour before baking cookies. Keep the dough refrigerated as much as possible. I break off pieces and roll and cut, keeping the bulk of the dough in the fridge.
Roll & cut.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until bottoms are slightly brown.
